Dracaena reflexa is a plant native to Madagascar, Mauritius and other nearby islands of the Indian Ocean. It is commonly grown in tropicaland subtropical climates throughout the world.It is an attractive member of the Draceana family.  The hybridized version of Dracaena reflexa that we carry, is characterised by its variegated leaves that form in lush spirals that catch the eye and make it a great landscaping plant. It is capable of becoming a large shrub, and can be trained into an impressive hedge given the correct pruning and conditions. Dracaena reflexa is easy to grow, and requires minimal attention once established. Dracaena reflexa does optimally in part-sun, to bright filtered light. It is adapted to a wide variety of soil types. Its drought tolerance is high, making this a plant well suited for non-irrigated landscapes. It is tolerant of full sun and can reach heights of 20 ft and greater in tropical zones.Pleomele should be kept  away from direct coastal exposure because of it is sensitive to salt in its environment.
